Hastily-Painted Acrylic Sketches from TV: "24" Edition: 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

So, last week -- um, I mean, "a few minutes ago," Walker sawed off this dude's thumb, which somehow did not convince Jack to back down on the whole "you're still too wrecked to be in the field" angle. Now, Jack, let's be fair -- is this really worse than the time you sawed off a dude's whole head?
You know, I think TWOP is right -- Prez Hassan's giant pompadour is getting bigger every hour.

Hastily-Painted Acrylic Sketches from TV: "24" Edition: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Agent Walker arrives by helicopter at CTU.
In a hilarious bit of irony, Jack lectures Walker that she's maybe gone a little too crazy to be back in the field, and WHY IN HOLY HECK CAN'T I EVER DRAW THIS MAN RIGHT?

Jack gets Tasered by Poor Man's Michael Chiklis. You just can't buy that kind of product placement.
Jack uses the ancient art of Tied-to-a-Chair Fu to overpower Poor Man's Michael Chiklis, causing him to be downgraded to NINA Loan Borrower's Michael Chiklis.
Freddie Prinze Jr.'s car gets blowed up. As the episode ends, the show seems to want us to think there's a chance he didn't survive. Sure, why not?

Hastily-Painted Acrylic Sketches from TV: "24" Edition: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The inside man turns out to be -- the brother of the President of Fauxranistan! How could a man with such splendid hair be so evil?
Spawn drops by CTU -- I'm surprised they let her in the building, considering what happens to CTU when Kim is around -- to tell Jack not to come to California, and also that she wants him to come to California. Dear Show, WE HATE SPAWN. Sincerely, All of Us.
Mikey the Fake Cop shoots the wife of an uncooperative opponent in the thigh. Hey, that's Jack's move!

THRILLING INTERNATIONAL NUKE INSPECTION TALKS!!
Beautiful.  The first time we see Chloe she is scowling at people and computers alike.  I've just noticed on my computer a picture from last year named "ChloeUnhappy.jpg."  Chloe, don't ever change.
The bad guys accommodate Jack by showing up seconds after he mentions them to the police, saving him all the usual tiresome business of waiting around while the cops call CTU for verification.
Before today's henchmen can remark how dangerous this building is, what with the missing fire axe and all, Jack demonstrates that the axe is still around.  Jack Bauer: the man who brings an axe to a gunfight.  And wins.
